I am a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Lisa Westerberg’s group at Microbiology, Tumor and Cell biology department in Karolinska Institute after completing my Ph.D study in Stockholm University. By studying animal models for primary immune deficiency diseases and examining patient samples, my research interest is to understand the mechanisms that regulate B cell differentiation in the periphery lymphoid tissues with focus on the germinal center response, and how impaired B cell function contributes to the primary immune deficiency diseases in patients. Two disease models that I currently work with is X-linked neutropenia caused by overactive WASp and Type II hyper IgM syndrome caused by loss-of-function mutation in AID.
