My area of interest comprises the investigation of the source and mechanism of autoinflammation in WASp KO myeloid cells. My research is focused on studying molecular and cellular mechanisms linking intracellular cytoskeletal dynamics and activation of innate immune pathways. Specifically, my work is aimed to better understand the increase inflammatory phenotype in WASp KO macrophages and their response to mechanical stimuli.
