SAMUELE NAVIGLIO

Samuele Naviglio is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist working in the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Unit at Institute for Maternal and Child Health IRCCS “Burlo Garofolo” in Trieste, Italy. He received his medical education and pediatrics fellowship at the University of Trieste, where he also obtained a PhD in Pediatric research focusing on immunologic therapies in pediatric inflammatory conditions. He currently cares for pediatric patients with Primary Immune Deficiencies and autoimmune hematologic conditions, as well as for patients with genetic conditions leading to hereditary cancer syndromes. Present research interests are mainly focused on (auto)inflammatory manifestations in patients with PIDs and their treatment. He is a member of several scientific societies including AIEOP, ESID, CIS, and a member of the European Cooperative Study Group for Pediatric Rare Tumors (EXPeRT).
