TANJA VALLEE

Dr. Tanja Vallée received her medical education at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, germany. After completing her residency in pediatrics at Dr. von Hauner Children´s Hospital (LMU, Munich) in 2016, she subspecialized in pediatric hematology and oncology at the same centre. Since 2021, she works as an attending physician in pediatric stem cell transplantation.
Dr. Vallée has a clinical research focus on Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome and other inborn errors of immunity as well as hemoglobinopathies. In her clinical role, she provides specialized care for this group of patients. Her clinical research focuses on analyzing transplant outcomes across varied donor types aiming to optimize long-term survival and quality of life for children suffering from those rare diseases.
